What are Interchange Charges?
Interchange Charges are variable fees charged by card networks such as Visa, MasterCard, AMEX for processing transactions.
Factors that affect interchange fees include card type, information contained in the transaction, and how/when the transaction was processed.
Card networks can update or change the interchange reimbursement fee schedule twice annually in April and October. To see the current Interchange Reimbursement Fee Schedule, visit the Visa.com and MasterCard.com websites.
