What should I do if I can’t change my business (DBA) name?

If you didn’t pass the automatic checks to change your new business name, we can manually update it for you. You’ll be asked to submit one of the following supporting documents to validate the change:

The file type must be .png, .jpeg, or .pdf, and the maximum file size should not exceed 25MB.

  • Doing Business As Filing
  • Fictitious Name Filing
  • Trade Name Filing
  • Business License
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • W9 Form

Our support team will review the documents and validate the change. This usually takes up to 48 business hours. If we can’t verify your documentation, or if we need any additional documents, one of our representatives will contact you via email or phone.

You can change only your Doing Business As name on the Paysafe Business Experience portal. This is your business’s public facing name which could be different from your official business legal name. You can’t change the legal name of your business on Paysafe Business Experience and need to contact us for assistance with such requests.
