Can I temporarily close my account?
You can place your account in “seasonal freeze” instead of closing it permanently. This stops all transaction processing while preserving your settings, history, and preferences.
The temporary hold of your account can last for a maximum of 6 months, or up to 1 year following an extension request. Your account will be automatically reinstated at the start of the 7th billing cycle, if no extension is requested, and you will start being charged the fees stated in your merchant agreement.
To request an extension of your account seasonal freeze, you’llneed to submit a completed Temporary Hold Extension Request before the end of the 6th billingcycle. You may request such an extension only once.
