How can I close the account if the owner passed away?

If the business owner listed on the account has passed away and you need to close the account, contact our Support Team to start the process. To complete the closure request, we’ll require a copy of the owner’s death certificate.

Depending on the situation, we may also request additional documentation to verify who is authorized to act on behalf of the business, along with any business succession or ownership transfer documents, if applicable. Once we receive and verify all required documents, we’ll proceed with the account closure.
