Who do I report a business owner's death to?
If a business owner listed on your merchant account has passed away, please contact our Support Team as soon as possible. We understand this may be a difficult time, and we’re here to help guide you through the process.
To ensure the account is updated correctly, we may request the following documentation:
- A copy of the death certificate
- Legal documentation showing who is authorized to act on behalf of the business
- Any business succession or ownership transfer documents, if applicable.
Once we receive the required documents, we’ll review the account and guide you through the next steps.
