How do I ensure the equipment is properly disconnected or reset before returning it?

When your account is closed, the terminal is automatically deactivated, so you don’t need to take any additional steps to reset the device.

Before returning the equipment, please make sure it is unplugged from any power sources, disconnected from the internet, and free of any peripheral devices. Ensuring the equipment is clean and securely packaged will help prevent damage during shipping.
