Can I close my account if I have an open batch?

Your account cannot be closed if there is an open batch. All batches must be closed and settled before submitting an account closure request.

Leaving a batch open may result in the transactions not being processed, which could lead to lost funds. To ensure all your payments are properly deposited, ensure that your final batch has been closed and settled before proceeding with account closure.
