To update your Tax Identification Number (TIN), submit a request through the Paysafe Business Experience portal, following the steps below:

  1. Log into the Paysafe Business Experience portal.
  2. Once logged in, click the widget icon in the top right corner of the screen to access the Communications Hub > Support Hub.
  3. Click Create New Ticket > Request a Change.

  4. Start filling out the ticket by selecting issue type 'Update My Business Information'.

  5. A new section will appear asking, ‘What changes would you like to make?’. Select Tax ID from the options listed. Enter your new Tax Identification Number and include any relevant notes in the Ticket Details section.

  6. Upload a supporting document, such as a W-9 or SS-4, to verify the updated TIN.

  7. Once you have entered all required information, click Create New Ticket at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Our support team will review and process your request once submitted. Usually, it takes up to 48 business hours for our team to update your TIN. You will then be able to view the new TIN in your Paysafe Business Experience portal.

If we need any additional information, we’ll reach out to you.

Always ensure that you enter the correct Tax Identification Number. An invalid TIN may result in a CP2100/CP2100A notice from the IRS, backup withholding, or financial penalties. Typos, outdated records or incorrect formatting may all result in an invalid TIN.
