What is Encytro and how do I subscribe to it?
Encytro is a chargeback protection program available through the Paysafe Business Experience portal. It allows you to submit claims for reimbursement for certain types of chargebacks and related costs (up to $1000 per chargeback, depending on your subscription plan).
Follow the steps below to access the Paysafe Marketplace and enrol in Encytro for added protection against chargebacks:
- Log in to the Paysafe Business Experience portal
- From the left-hand menu, select Marketplace
- Click Encytro
- Choose from the available subscription plans
- Click Subscribe

Your subscription will appear pending first, and updates may take up to 24 hours to reflect. Once processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your subscription details and instructions on how to log in to the Encytro website to set up your account.
If you’ve already subscribed, you’ll find Encytro in the My Apps section, where you can manage your active subscriptions.
Which transactions can I reimburse through Encytro?
You can submit claims for reimbursement of covered chargebacks and costs, including:
- Certain card-present fraudulent chargebacks
- Fallback transactions
- EMV liability shift
- Chargeback fees
- Fraudulent ATM withdrawals
- Non-Receipt of Merchandise/Cash at ATM
- No Cardholder Authorization
- And more
What are the subscription fees and coverage amounts?
- $29.95/month – Up to $250 chargeback reimbursement coverage
- $49.95/month – Up to $1,000 chargeback reimbursement coverage
Transaction amounts above the enrolled plan amount are not covered; furthermore, only card‑present (chip, swipe) transactions are subject to coverage.
Fees are charged at month’s end and will appear in your monthly statement.
How long do reimbursements take?
If approved, reimbursements are paid by Encytro, typically within 45–60 days of claim submission. Note that Paysafe does not review reimbursement claims as they are processed entirely by Encytro.
