Can I still use a terminal that has reached End of Life?

Your device will continue to operate even after it has reached end-of-life status. However, there are important limitations to consider:

  • No firmware updates: performance and compatibility may decline over time due to lack of updates.
  • PCI non-compliance: EOL terminals are no longer compliant with current PCI security standards, which may put cardholder data at risk.
  • Limited support: advanced technical support is not available for EOL terminals. Our team will be able to provide only basic troubleshooting.
  • No replacements or repairs: replacement parts and service options are no longer offered.

While the terminal may still work, we strongly recommend upgrading to a supported device to maintain compliance, ensure data security, and have access to full support.
