What does ‘End of Life’ mean for a terminal?

Copied to clipboard

‘End of Life’ (EOL) refers to the point when a terminal is no longer supported by the manufacturer or service provider. When this happens:

  • The device will no longer receive software updates or security patches
  • Repairs or replacements may not be available
  • Technical support will be limited or discontinued
  • You may need to upgrade to a newer model to maintain compatibility and compliance

If you're using a terminal that has reached EOL, we recommend contacting our support team to discuss upgrade options and avoid service disruptions.
