How can I return a faulty terminal?

Copied to clipboard

To return defective equipment, follow the steps below:

  1. Check the warranty status: if the terminal is still within the one-year warranty, a replacement can be requested at no extra cost. The replacement terminal will match the same model as your original device. If the warranty has expired, a new terminal must be purchased.
  2. Request a call tag: a call tag is required to return any equipment, including when an account has been closed. To request a call tag, send an email to our Support team at deploymentforms@paysafe.com with the following details:
  • the device you’re returning
  • its serial number
  • the email address where the call tag should be sent
  • the reason for the return

Once received, our team will take care of the replacement request.

  1. Return the defective device: once your request is processed, use the issued call tag to ship back the faulty terminal. Returning the device helps avoid additional fees.
