How do I update my terminal software?
Most terminals are set to update automatically during non-business hours, so in many cases, no action is needed on your part.
If you’re prompted to update your software or if you experience issues that require a manual update, follow the simple steps below:
- Keep the terminal turned on and connected to the internet; make sure your device is plugged in and has a stable connection, either through Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
- Follow on-screen prompts. If your terminal detects an available update, it will usually display a message asking you to confirm the installation. Simply follow the steps on the screen.
- Don’t unplug the device during the update. Interrupting the process can cause issues with the software.
