How to troubleshoot charging issues on my Valor terminal?

To resolve any issues with charging your Valor device, follow these steps

  1. Ensure you are using the charging cable and wall adapter that were provided with your terminal. Using unapproved accessories may lead to inconsistent charging.
  2. If the battery is performing inconsistently, it is recommended to fully discharge the battery by allowing it to reach 0% and power itself off completely.
  3. After discharging, charge the terminal overnight to help recalibrate the battery's performance.
  4. For optimal operation, especially when printing receipts, ensure your terminal has at least 45% battery life.
