What does it mean to “settle” a batch?

Copied to clipboard

To “settle” a batch means to close out the group of credit and debit card transactions collected throughout the day and submit them to the payment processor for funding.

Once a batch is settled, the transactions are finalized, and the funds are scheduled to be deposited into your bank account.

Settlement can happen automatically (auto-batch) at a pre-set time or manually if initiated by you.

Settle your batch daily to avoid delays in funding and to ensure accurate transaction reporting.
